Der WineAdvocate verlieh unserem Weingut in diesem Jahr dreimal 100 Punkte für fruchtsüße Auslesen des Jahrgangs 2013. Am 22. April 2015 wird 2-Sterne-Michelin-Koch Hans Stefan Steinheuer vom Restaurant “Zur Alten Post” (Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler) in der Vinothek des Haus Klosterberg ein Menü der Extraklasse kredenzen. Passend dazu werden ausgewählte Weine unseres Weinguts gereicht.

100% passion = 100 points
“The purity, lightness and liveliness displayed by the wine are quite incredible.”
The renowned American wine critic Robert Parker gave the Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese*** in the current Wine Advocate the highest grade with 100 points. Parker writes: “The purity, lightness and liveliness displayed by the wine are quite incredible.” Markus Molitor: “That is a great acknowledgement and honour for our winery and our daily work in the vineyard and the cellar. We are delighted.”

A grade of 100 points is very rare – in the vintage 2011 only two wine growers achieved the maximum number of points: Markus Molitor and Michel Chapoutier in France!

Some people think he is crazy, others that he is a masochist, while others find he is at least as ingenious as his wines. Markus Molitor is the Lord of the Thousand Rieslings.

He produces around 70 different wines per vintage. But regardless of how many: there is not one of them that is not worth appreciating, loving, hording or drinking.
